She graduated from the Department of Statistics of the University of Piraeus, Greece. Acquired her M.Sc. degree from the Department of Computer Science, Cardiff University, UK. For ten years she worked for Log-on a company which was a leading provider of business management software where she was undertaking various responsibilities in the software department such as  technical consultant, project manager. In 1996 she became Manager of the ERP Department. In December 2003 she left Log-on to become consultant to the  "5th region of Health of Thessaly".

Since October 2007 she holds the positions of Lecturer in the Department of Accounting of the TEI of Larissa, Greece. 
Her interests are semantic web, theorem proving, automated reasoning and Artificial Inteligence.

She is currently working on her PhD research on the "Automated Composition of Web Services".
